It’s time for an update on my safer roads project. As anyone following me on Twitter will know, I have temporarily hung up the writing mittens and, since the new year, devoted all my time to my safer roads project.
And I am proud to announce that it is very nearly finished!
The beta version of the website is up and running and the back end is now operational. There are a few finishing touches to be made to the design and a few buttons need to be created to pretty it up. But it is beginning to come together.
This week I have been working on aspects of the business.
It was great to talk to one of my associates in Ireland last week who is dealing with the aspects of the business covering insurance companies. Meanwhile the software developer in Glasgow has made huge efforts to successfully make everything function and has coordinated developers internationally.
A deal is underway with a well known financial services provider to facilitate a micropayment system in order keep the costs to the end user as low as feasibly possible. This should come to a conclusion by the middle of next week along with the banking system. So all in all, I have been extraordinarily busy.
